Eva Brungardt Schmidtberger then married Peter Delva/Delwa of Marienthal, Russia. He died 22 Feb 1908 and Eva immigrated to the US as Eva Delva on the SS Gneisenau arriving New York, NY on 26 Dec 1908.
In the 1915 Kansas census she is listed as Eva Delva in the household of both her son, Michael and her daughter, Katharina Vonfeldt. In the 1920 US census she is listed as Eva Schimitberger in her son's household.
There is no headstone for her in St. Fidelis Cemetery nor is her death recorded in the parish death register so it is possible she is buried elsewhere.
