Ruby Hathcock Green, age 93, of Oneonta passed away at her residence on October 16, 2014. Mrs. Green worked for many years at Jonah's Restaurant and Round the Clock Restaurant as a cook. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is preceded in death by parents, Nathan and Savannah Phillips Hathcock; husband, Joel Green; daughter, Annette Gladden; great great grandson, Jeffrey Gladden; sisters, Grace Dailey, Florence Hawkins and Mary Hartley; brothers, Rayford Hathcock and Calvin Hathcock.

Mrs. Green is survived by grandchildren, Johnny Gladden of Florida, Gerald Gladden of Gadsden, Kenneth Gladden (Denise) of Selma and Clay Gladden of Straight Mountain; 8 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; sister, Louise Colley of Oneonta; brothers, Alvin Hathcock of Michigan and Willie Hathcock of Coal City; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Br. Donnie Lacks will officiate funeral services on Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2PM from the Chapel of Lemley Funeral Home with burial following at Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Green will lie in state at Lemley Funeral Home on Saturday from 5:30PM until 8PM and on Sunday from 8AM until service time.

Pallbearers: Jonathan Gladden, Josh Gladden, Mitchell Lee, Jeremy Gladden, Clay Gladden and Johnny Gladden.
