Born in Spartanburg County on January 13, 1931, a daughter of the late Velda Mae and Zeb Blanton, she was the widow of the late Mr. William Jackson 'Jay' Burrell having celebrated 68 years of marriage.
Mrs. Burrell retired from ADO Corporation and was of the Baptist Faith.
She is survived by a son, Randall Burrell (Carol), of Landrum, SC; three sisters, Pearl Sams, Myrtle Easler and Annie Cleveland; three grandsons, Ricky, Jeffrey and Dean Burrell and two great grandsons, Jackson and William Burrell.
The family received friends on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Seawright Funeral Home.
Funeral services followed in the Seawright Funeral Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev Donnan Lawson officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Inman.
