Mrs. Arlene Greer Davis age 88, of Lansing, died Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Ashe Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Davis was born May 4, 1926 in Ashe County to Lillard and Ethel Rupard Greer. Funeral services were held Sunday, October 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Badger Funeral Home. Mrs. Davis is survived by: three sons, Fairley Davis and Jimmy Davis both of Lansing and Larry Davis of Crumpler, one daughter, Janet Phipps of Crumpler, one brother, Russell Greer of PA; also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
