She was born January 12, 1937 in Yamacraw, Kentucky to Elihu Wilson and Marie (Hickman) Wilson. Lucy was a member of the Hill Top Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing and quilting. Lucy also enjoyed animals and caring for her birds.
Preceding her in death are her parents, brothers and sisters, Doyle Wilson, Dora Ross, Dorothy Dixon, Mary Runion, Billy Wilson, Earl J. Wilson, Austin Wilson, and an infant girl.
She is survived by her son, Jared Wilson of Somerset, Kentucky; brother, Dave Wilson and wife, Ann, of Winfield, Tennessee; sister, Sue Gibson and husband, Alan, of Greenville, Kentucky; a grandson, Ian Wilson; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
