Orpha Jane FARNSWORTH
of Waterford; passed away peacefully on May 1, 2013 at 96 years of age. Loving wife of the late Marlon “Bud” Farnsworth; beloved mother of Dennis (Cindy) Farnsworth, Glenda (Larry) Day, Brent Farnsworth, and her late infant son Gerald Farnsworth; special grandmother of Michael (Kim) Farnsworth, Jeffrey (Debbie) Farnsworth, Christopher Farnsworth, Ann Marie Hargraves (Rich), Cathy (Bret) Rasegan, Matthew (Liza) Day, and Laura (Darin) McGowan. Also survived by 12 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, and countless nieces and nephews. Orpha was a member of Joslyn Presbyterian Church for 50 years. She retired from Pontiac school district. She loved to square dance, golf, bowl, crochet, knit and quilt; but she was happiest in her garden. The family is grateful for the exceptional care Orpha received at Scenic Hill Manor in Clarkston.
Visitation : Family will receive friends on Monday, May 6, 2013 from 3:00 - 5:00 PM and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at COATS FUNERAL HOME – WATERFORD.
Funeral Service :
10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Community Presbyterian Church, 4301 Monroe Ave, Waterford. Interment will follow at Perry Mount Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Joslyn Presbyterian Church, envelopes available at the funeral home.
