Cecelia Sue Kelly, 63, of Springfield died Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2001 at her home. She received her degree in floral design from David Curtis Floral Design School and she loved floral design, gift wrapping, knitting, crocheting and crafting. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, St. Bernard's Booster Club, Catholic Central Boosters Club and St. Mary's Booster Club. She was a past president of the Knights of Columbus Women's Council and a member and past president of Beta Sigma Phi. She was also a member of St. Hubert's Catholic Church of Higgins Lake, Mich., St. Hubert's Booster Club, the Dig-n-Dirt Garden Club and Garden Partners Garden. She was loyal, fair and creative. She was born March 3, 1938, in Springfield to the late Charles Victor and Evelyn DeLaCroix Appel and was predeceased by a sister, Charlene Marie Taulbee and a nephew, Christopher Sachs. She was the beloved wife of 44 years of Dennis Robert Kelly and is survived by two daughters; two sons; the most precious talented and beautiful grandchildren in the world; a brother, of Atlanta, Ga.; many precious nieces and nephews; precious friends, Marilyn, Susan, Janet, Shirley and Barbara; and many other close friends. A memorial service will be held at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 910 Lagonda Ave., Springfield, at 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Paul Hurst will officiate and burial will be at the church cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Littleton and Rue Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Clark County Public Library, 201 S.
