Mrs. Giddens was a native of Rutledge but had made her home in Milledgeville. She worked for Central State Hospital for many years and retired as Personnel and Business Manager with Oconee Mental Health Center. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Mary McHan, her husband Quinton “Gid” Giddens, Jr. and her brother Morris McHan. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Jay Giddens (Mary), Ricky Giddens (Denise), and Matt Giddens (Tara) all of Milledgeville, 8 grandchildren: Quint, Seth, Abby, Hunter, Luke, Shelby, Andy and Elizabeth Claire.
