Darlene "Doll" Ann (Stroik) Kieliszewski age 76, passed away peacefully at home, smiling at the love of her life, Tom.

She was born on February 22, 1938 to the late Andrew and Regina (Hintz) Stroik in Stevens Point, WI.

On August 24, 1957 she married Thomas L. Kieliszewski at Torun Church, Stevens Point, WI. Together they made a wonderful life with their seven daughters.

Darlene was a stay at home mom who prided herself in wholesome family dinners and fresh homemade bread. Darlene went on to share her talent of cooking at St. Stephens School. Over a 23 year career she was best known by the kids for her homemade bread and cinnamon rolls. She retired in 2008.

Doll & Tom spent their 57 years together enjoying their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They loved to relax at their cottage, spending time fishing on the Rainbow Flowage.

She made holidays special in countless ways. Darlene always had gratitude for the opportunities to travel to places she had never imagined seeing. Yet enjoyed the comfort of her recliner watching the Brewers and the Packers.

Darlene leaves behind her husband Tom, daughters: Gail Wild (Rob Mott), Barb (Randy) Somers, Debbie (Mark) Czech, Cindy Kieliszewski (Pete Davis), Kathy (Raymond) Laatsch, Lisa (Brian) Cory, Amy (Jerry) Krupka.

Grandchildren: Kimberly, Jonathan, Stephanie, Trevor, Richie, Brenda, Leslie, Curtis, Holly, Tyler, Tucker, Devin, Laura, Kaleb. Great grandchildren; Rowan, Logan, Morgan, Noah, Ainsley, Hudson and Mackenzy.

She is proceeded in death by her grandson Nicholas, her mother, father, stepfather (Anton), brothers, Alex, Leonard, Connie, Andrew Jr., and her sister Pat.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Torun. The Rev. Greg Michaud will officiate. Burial will be at the parish cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Monday at the Shuda Funeral Chapel in Stevens Point and on Tuesday from 9 AM until the time of services at the church. The St. Mary's Rosary Society, of which she was a member will combine with the general rosary at 7 PM on Monday.

While cancer took its toll on her body it never took her spirit. She was so thankful for the love and support from her extended family and friends. Cards, calls and prayers kept her smiling. We are grateful to all of you for that.

We also want to thank the doctors and nurses at Marshfield Clinic and Hospital. In addition, we are all so grateful for the kindness of our hospice nurse, Patty.
