GEORGE WALTERS, 71, RETIRED FARMER, DIES; SERVICES AT REYNOLDS

MONTICELLO--Final rites for George W. Walters, 71, of route 1, Wolcott, retired farmer, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Christian church, Reynolds. The Reverend Eldon Ringle will officiate and burial will be in Riverview cemetery, Monticello. Friends may call at the Miller funeral home here after noon today. The body will be taken to the church Sunday one hour before services.

His death occurred Thursday at his home.

A native of Jasper county, Indiana, he was born July 15, 1887, son of Thomas and Angeline Brewer Walters.

His marriage in April 1915 was to Laura Allen Anderson, who died in 1927. One son, Clarence, also preceded him in death.

Survivors are two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Ruth Crawn, Delphi; Mrs. Laura Mikels, Dillsboro, Ind.; John, Wolcott; Paul, Reynolds; two sisters and one brother; Mrs. Ella Long, and Mrs. Nellie Pass, both of Rensselaer, Harry Walters, Francesville.
