(Par. Reg.), as John sonne of Thomas and Susan Ffrench; d. 1 Feb. 1697 Northampton*, Mass., as John French; m. Freedom Kingsley about 1654; dau. of John and 1st wife Elizabeth ( ) Kingsley of Dorchester, and Rehcboth, Mass.; b. about 1630 England; d. 26 July 1689 Northampton', as Freedom French. "
Correction & Notes: Rehoboth, not Rehcboth, where Freedom's father lived. John & Freedom followed Enos Kingsley of Dorchester to Northampton, after raising children in Ipswich and selling land there. Only dates given precisely are the deaths in Northampton, with a surviving sibling or child of John's possibly giving dates after John's death, perhaps uessing the remainder, trying to make records complete for estate purposes.
