Poet. He was born André Nicolaj in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, and died in Paris. He is remembered for his book Les Fêtes Douloureuses. He founded the magazine Le Citron Bleu and was personal secretary of the poets Fernand Gregh and Max Fischer. His beatutiful epitaph extracted of one of his poems reads: Mais que, parfois, un enfant vienne, Ingénument frais, tendre et beau Semer des rires qui s'égrènent Etincelants, sur mon tombeau. (But, that sometimes, a child comes, fresh, tender and beautiful to seed ingenuously laughter which shells dazzling, on my tomb) Cause of death: Suicide by gunshot.
