John V. Dickerson, died Saturday night, July 17, when he suffered a heart attack at his home in Neal, Kansas.
Funeral services will be held there this afternoon, (Thursday) while burial will be in the Lincoln cemetery here. The Lebo Masonic Lodge will conduct graveside services this afternoon.
Mr. Dickerson married Mary Rosine, daughter of John Rosene,Sr., and had been the depot agent there for many years. He was 47 years old. He had been fishing Saturday night when the storm came up so he hurried home, running part of the way. The exertion was too much, for he had just entered his home and told his wife "he hurried so she wouldn't worry", when death struck him instantly.
