Peter Reinsel, an aged citizen of Clarion Township, died very suddenly at his late residence, Monday morning about eight o'clock of heart failure. Mr. Reinsel was born in Lebanon County in September 1833 and at the time of his death was a little over 77 years old. His wife and ten children survive him. They are John, of Redbank Township, Martin of Marienville, Charles, of Clarion township, Albert, of McDonald's Corners, Peter, Jr., Fred, and Edward who are at home. Mrs. James A. Aaron, of Limestone township, and two daughters who are at home. Three brothers, J.H., Levi, J.A., of Crates and one sister Mrs. Samuel McAninch of Franklin, also survive him. The funeral took place Thursday morning at 10:30 at Crates. Internment in Crates Catholic Cemetery. Mr. Reinsel was one of the most upright of men, and was universally regarded as a model husband and father, a good neighbor and progressive citizen. He was poor overseer for his township for a great many years, and was not only kind to the poor, but also careful of the taxpayer's interest. His place will not be easily filled.
