The following was written of Norbert J. Reinsel a few hours before after his fathers' death:

Gone in his Heart of God, our hope, our pride, our inspiration.
Of many a long and happy year.
And although he leaves a vacant chair.
His face will always be before us.
And as he stands before his maker
No need for him to bow his head.
And if we but follow in his footsteps
He will be there to meet and greet
us with a ready hand
When the bugle of God does sound
recall, and our Weary steps
Have led us onward to out final resting place.
