Darlington, SC Tony Lee Evans died Saturday, October 11, 2014. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 2 PM at High Hill Baptist Church conducted by Pastor Randy James. Burial will follow in Grove Hill Cemetery directed by Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home.
Tony was born in Darlington County. He was the son of the late Thorna Lee and Vivian Watford Evans Hoffman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a loving husband, father, and family man.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Evans of the home, his daughter, April (Hugo) Rangel of Darlington, his brother, Terry Evans of Darlington, his grandchildren, Will, Wilson, and Katherine and a special aunt, Shirley Brewer.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 and at all other times at the residence.
The family suggests memorials to High Hill Baptist Church.
