Kelsie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Grissom, died at his home here Wednesday of complication of diseases. He was past 17 years of age and their only child. He was a member of the Baptist church at Silverville. He had been in bad health for more than a year. The funeral services will be held at Williams Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock and the remains will be interred in the cemetery near by. The entire community extend their sympathy to the bereaved father and mother and the host of their relatives. (Loogootee, Martin County Tribune, Sept 1, 1916, page 4.)
