Sadie Downey Reynolds, age 88, died Monday, September 21, 1992, in the Stonewall Jackson Extended Care Facility. Mrs. Reynolds was born March 14, 1904, in Bedford County, Va., a daughter of the late Sam Bob Downey and Daisy Martin Downey.

She was the widow of the late Robert W. Reynolds, Sr.

She was a member of the Natural Bridge Pentecostal Holiness Church in Natural Bridge Station.

She was preceded in death by a son, Aubrey Ray Reynolds.

She is survived by two sons, Robert W. Reynolds, III, Castalian Springs, Tenn., and Ralph E. Reynolds, Natural Bridge Station; a daughter, Rachel R. Falls, West Palm Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 24, 1992, at 2:00 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Donald W. Stine officiating. Burial to follow in the Glasgow Cemetery in Glasgow. The family will receive friends Wednesday night from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
