Colp- Eileen Wiggins, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, 83, of Colp, formerly of Houston, TX, passed away at 11:32 AM, Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Eileen was born on July 29, 1931 in Hobart, IN to Merle and Goldie (Martin) Bellinger. She married Paul Wiggins on May 1, 1971 in Glen Park, IN. He preceded her in death on March 23, 2005.
Eileen worked many years as the Insurance Manager for the cardiology department at Baylor University in Houston, TX.
Eileen was a very active strong minded woman who enjoyed volunteering her time at the Herrin Hospital gift shop and the homeless shelter and food pantry in Herrin. She was a longtime member of Herrin Second Baptist Church where she began and oversaw the church library. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

One Daughter and her family
7 grandchildren
9 great grandchildren
Two Sisters
Three Brothers
Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters- Betty Reedy, Sharon Mathis and Carol Lynn Bellinger.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 17, 2014 at Egyptian Memorial Gardens in Energy. Friends and family are asked to meet directly at the graveside.
Memorial arrangements were handled by Johnson-Hughes Funeral Home in Herrin.
