Ruth Adams, 68, of Fort Worth, died Monday, March 11, at Osteopathic Hospital in Fort Worth after an extended illness.
Services were Thursday, March 14, at Riley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Pittman officiating. Burial was in Hurst Ranch Cemetery at Star.
Mrs. Adams was born July 10, 1927, in Star, the daughter of Frank and Anna Barnes Soules. She worked in food management and was a Baptist. She had lived in Fort Worth for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Sauers and her husband Gilbert; three sisters, Evelyn Kincheloe, Christin Boykin and Viola Hodges; two brothers, Johnnie Soules, and Frank Soules; and a grandson, Corey Sauers.
Pallbearers were Charles Jay, Clyde Boykin, Earl Green, Roland Kincheloe and Horace Soules.
