U.S. Casualty as a result of Pancho Villa's raid on Columbus, New Mexico on March 8th, 1916. 8 Soldiers and 10 Civilians lost their lives in the raid.

Note: Corporal Paul Simon was killed along with his Band Sergeant John G. Neiveregelt, who is also buried at Fort Bliss.
