Julie Burchfield, age 82, of Revelo, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at Scott County Hospital in Oneida, Tennessee.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 1, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the East Apple Tree United Baptist Church with Bro. Samuel Vaughn and Bro. Roger Bryant officiating. Burial followed in the Burchfield Cemetery.

She was born July 22, 1925 in Sawyer, Kentucky to Arlie Selvidge and Sarah Perry Selvidge. She was a resident of the McCreary County Health and Rehab Center and a member of the East Appletree United Baptist Church for over 40 years. Julie was a homemaker and she enjoyed quilting, attending church, making crafts for her grandchildren, and caring for her family.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husbands, Roscoe Jones, Edward “Bud” Spradlin, and Joe Burchfield, two sons, Darrell Edward Jones and Newtie Spradlin, five stepchildren, Edith, Aileen, Carl, and Earl Spradlin, and Alma Wilson, a grandchild, Sheila Stephens, two great grandchildren, Justus Spradlin, and Kelsey Jones, five brothers, Charlie, Green, George, Rube, and Robert Selvidge, and four sisters, Mary Pryor, Alice Shelley, Blanche Selvidge, and Hallie Myers.

She is survived by three sons, Norman “Dickie” Jones and his wife, Pam, of Winfield, Tennessee, Emery Jones and his wife, Susan, of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Estil Spradlin and his wife, Denise, of Revelo, Kentucky, three daughters, Sarah Stephens and her husband, Earl “Tator Bug”, of Revelo, Diane Nelson and her husband, Bobby, of Revelo, and Bobbie Jo Stephens and her husband, Lester, of Revelo, a stepson, Herstle Spradlin, of Florida, two daughter-in-laws, Gayle Jones and Priscilla Spradlin, twenty two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, twenty seven great grandchildren, one step great grandchild, two great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters in Christ.
