Funeral service for Rodney Ray "Bumb" West, age 58, will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 11, 2014 in the David J. and Rosa W. Fondel Church Chapel at Semien-Lewis Mortuary, 819 N. State Street in Jennings, LA. with Rev. Dr. Kieran D. Coleman officiating. Burial will be in Benovelent Cemetery in Jennings, LA. under the direction of Semien-Lewis Mortuary. Visitation will be at 11:00 A.M. in the Church Chapel until time of funeral service. Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by a squad from Fort Polk, LA.

Mr. West entered into eternal rest on October 2, 2014 at his residence. He was a native of Lafayette, LA. and was a former employee of Safe Haven Enterprise. Rodney served in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge.

Survivors include his Mother, Annie Mae Noel, of Jennings, LA; his father Milton Webb, of California; 3 Brothers, Freddie (Lula Mae) Noel of Port Arthur, TX., Quinton (Clarice) Noel of Jennings, LA., and Stacy (Maria) Noel of Las Vegas, Nevada; best friends, Darrell Watson and Oscar Sealy.
