Shirley Ann Hathaway, the daughter of Edwin and Lorraine (Snyder) Hathaway was born April 5, 1935 in Sioux Falls, SD. She graduated from Washington High School in 1954. Shirley worked at the Credit Bureau doing clerical work.
On June 7, 1958, Shirley was united in marriage with Robert 'Bob' Tunender in Sioux Falls, SD. She was a homemaker, along with running a daycare in her home. Shirley also worked as a packer for Allied Van Lines for a number of years.
Shirley was a member of St. Lambert Church in Sioux Falls. She enjoyed flowers and gardening, and had a great love for reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Shirley was known for her endless supply of sour candy for the grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Billy; a sister, Sandra; and a special aunt, Katherine Snyder.
