Betty Glaub, 77, of Connersville, died at 3:30 P.M. Monday, March 10, 2008 at Arbor Trace Nursing Home, Richmond where she had been a resident for the past six months following a lengthy illness.
She was born June 15, 1930 in Franklin County, one of seven children of Clarence and Anetia Kuehn Amrhein and she attended Franklin County Schools.
On August 18, 1951, she was married in St. Michael's Church, Brookville, IN to Edwin Glaub. Mr. Glaub survives.
For a number of years, she had been employed at Visteon, retiring in 1993.
She was a member of St. Gabriel Church. A devoted mother and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Survivors beside her husband, include two daughters, Mary Frasur and husband Larry, Anita Scott and husband, Jeff both of Connersville; four grandchildren, Marie Dowling and husband, Tim of Greenville , NC, Michael Parsley of New Castle, IN, Brian Scott of Cincinnati, OH and David Scott of Indianapolis, IN;
two great-grandsons, Corbin and Dylan Parsley; five sisters, Ruth Kirschner and Norma Knecht both of Connersville, Rita Riehle and husband, Elmer of Blooming Grove, Dorothy Boyle and husband, Marvin of Live Oak, FL and Donna Back and husband, Harold of Brookville, IN; a brother, Ray Amrhein and wife, Evelyn of Brookville, IN; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Beside her parents, she is preceded in death by a infant grandson, Jeffrey Parsley.
Funeral services will be held at 12 P.M. (Noon) Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home with Rev. Stanley J. Herber officiating.
Burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 A.M., until the time of the service on Thursday with the rosary to be recited at 11:30 A.M.
