Marjorie moved to Baldwin City in 1958 as teenager. She remained in Baldwin City until she passed.
Marjorie was united in marriage to Wendell Lee Terry, this union later ended in divorce. She was united in marriage to Orville Crone that union later ended in divorce.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; a sister Kathleen Harris and a brother Kenneth Hargett.
She is survived by three sons, Kenneth Terry, Baldwin City, KS, Richard Terry and wife Carmen, Baldwin city, KS, “JW” James Wendell Terry, Lawrence, KS; three brothers James Jr. Hargett and wife Hilda, Baldwin City, Richard Hargett and wife Penny, Baldwin City and Dallas Hargett Baldwin City; three sisters Betty Porter and husband Gene, Salsbury, MO, Bernice Howell, Westminster, CO, and Edith Murray and husband Gary; sister-in-law Ruth Hargett, several grandchildren and many beloved dogs.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 13, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Prairie City Cemetery, Baldwin City, KS. Family suggests memorials be made to the Marjorie Winchell memorial fund in c/o Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, 712 Ninth St., PO Box 64, Baldwin City, KS 66006.
