Randy L. Hardy departed this life on December 13, 2012 at his home.

He was born on March 17, 1965 in Elizabethtown, North Carolina. He graduated from Waukegan High School.

Randy was kind hearted and a kid at heart, a true family man. He wanted to see smiles on the faces of all those he loved. He put his heart into whatever he touched. He enjoyed Cooking big meals with an open invitation. Drawing a perfect picture through the eyes of an artist, by helping out a neighbor or giving you a haircut to remember.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving companion, Olivia Navarro; children, Randy Gray, Dominique and DeAngelo Hardy, Camilla and Emilio Navarro all of Waukegan, two brothers, Billy Rae and Matthew Poe; his grandmother, Julia B. Hardy; three nieces, Asia, Shante'and Brianna Poe of Waukegan; aunts, Lucille (John) Vaught of Myrtle Beach, SC, Annie Stryhorn Loris of South Carolina, Margaret Hardy of Lake Wales, FL, Corrine (Glen) Chancey, Lena (Henry) Finch, Stephanie (Gerald) Johnson; an uncle, Charles Hardy all of Waukegan; a very close cousin, Crystal Chancey and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and dear friends.

A Celebration of His Life Service will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 800 S. Genesee St., Waukegan, IL. Rev. Robert B.Evans, Sr., Officiating. Rev. Walstone E. Francis, Pastor. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park Zion, IL.
