GRAY -- Gerald Ray. On April 16, 2003 Gerald Ray Gray became absent from the body and face to face with our Lord Jesus Christ. He graduated from Canton High School and Oklahoma A&M College with a B.S. in Accounting. Gerry started his career as a Certified Public Accountant for Arthur Young & Co. He later joined Vinson Supply Company as Financial Vice-President, where he was employed until his retirement. He was a Captain in the U.S. Army and served his country in the Korean War. He was a member of Southside Christian Church, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants, Financial Executives International, Power Squadron and a 32nd Degree Mason. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, boating, fishing, hunting and attending O.S.U. sporting events. Born January 24, 1930 in Seiling, OK to Queen N. (White) and Lawrence M. Gray. Survived by his wife of 49 years, R. Colleen Gray; his sons, David L. Gray of Norman and Michael S. Gray and wife, Lesa; his grandchildren, Scott M. and Courtney A. Gray, all of Tulsa; brothers, Cecil D. Gray of Canton, OK and Fred L. Gray of Irving, TX; and mother-in-law, Ruth Helen Mowery of Tulsa; and Destin, Jasmine and Yahtzee of the home. He was preceded in death by his son, Gerald Brian Gray; his parents; and his brother, John L. Gray. Service will be held on April 19, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Floral Haven Cemetery Chapel in Broken Arrow. He will be greatly missed by friends, former co-workers and family. Memorials: Southside Christian Church Memorial Fund and the Leukemia Society of America. Floral Haven, 252-2518.
