Stephen Blanton Rice, 51, of Sikeston, died October 7, 2014, at his residence. Born May 3, 1963, in Sikeston, to Mary "Genie" Blanton Rice of Sikeston and the late Bernard C. Rice, he was employed over 15 years for Redneck Trailer Supply of Sikeston.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Sikeston. He was a Sikeston T-ball coach for 3 years, a champion dart player and avid golfer. He also enjoyed playing fantasy football and fantasy baseball, and was a Mizzou Tiger fan and Cardinal baseball fan.
On May 12, 1990, in Sikeston, he married Monique DeCota, who survives of the home.
Additional survivors include: two daughters, Abigail Elizabeth Rice and Madeleine DeCota Rice, both of the home; one brother and sister-in-law, Cliff and Patty Rice of Independence, Mo.; and several nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
