Herman was the son of Joseph Dremolski and Augusta Rodka. He married Ethel Harrington on 6 March 1897. According to Herman's death certificate he was buried in Byers Cemetery in Colfax Township, now known as The Pine Plains Cemetery in Colfax Township, located on Mill Pond Road.

In 1900 Herman, Ethel and their children, Verna and Beryl were living in Green, Mecosta County, Michigan. Herman was a farmer. According to the federal census record Herman came to America in 1886.
