Sidney Madge Thompson, 95, of South Pekin, passed away Monday, October 6, 2014 at her home.
Born December 30, 1918 in Dent County, MO to Emmett and Iva (Gibbs) Bonebrake, she married Alfred J. Thompson. He died November 16, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Judy Hunter and Diane Thompson; two sons, Jimmy Thompson and Kenneth Thompson; two grandsons; two brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are one son, Jack (Nancy) Thompson of Pekin; and one daughter, Mazine (Bill) Trumpy of South Pekin.
Sidney had worked at PDQ Laundry in Pekin and later in the cafeteria at Pekin Community High School West Campus.
She was a member of Community Fellowship Church in South Pekin, and the Ladies of Faith Group at the church.
Sidney enjoyed quilting, gardening, and cooking.
Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
