FAILS TO RALLY FROM SHOCK OF AMPUTATION
(illegible) as a merciful deliverance to Mrs. August Breider who (??) weeks ago was forced to undergo the amputation of both legs above the knees as result of complications setting in following the birth of a baby nine weeks ago at her home at Mishicot. Mrs. Breider was removed to the Holy Family hospital seven weeks ago and made a brave fight for her life but her condition grew gradually worse until amputation made in a last effort to save her life. The shock proved too great however and she succumbed at 7:15 this morning, death bringing a deliverance from intense suffering.

Mrs. Breider was 40 years of age and was born near Mishicot. She attended the common schools and completed an education that entitled to a teaching certificate and for a number of years was employed in the schools of the country. Twenty years ago she was married to August Breider the husband with ten children survives to mourn her loss.

Besides the husband and children she is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baugniet, Sr., of Mishicot five brothers Fred, Jr.,cashier of the State Bank of Francis Creek; Frank, residing in the west; Eli and Walter at Mishicot and Archie, a rural carrier out of the Two
Rivers postoffice and two sisters, Mrs. P.J. Bonde of the Town of Newtonand Mrs. F. Sherff of Antigo. Funeral arrangements have not been completed but the body will be taken to the home at Mishicot and services will be held at Holy Cross Catholic church at that village.
