Richard L. Perrine, 32, of 628 Hillside Ave., Franklin, died at 3:50 am Sunday at Mercy Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a long illness. He was born December 9, 1940 in Franklin, son of Herman A. and Tressie Alice Hoffman Perrine.
He worked at Polk State School and Hospital, and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene. A graduate of Franklin High School, he served in the US Navy from 1958 to 1962.
He married Alice Mae Cunningham, who survives, with three children, Richard L. Jr, James B., and Tamala, all at home; his mother of Franklin; a sister, Mrs. Mary Kaylor of Franklin; four half-sisters, Mrs. Everet Richardson of Awiga, NY, Mrs. Cliff Wagner of Tucson, AZ, Mrs. Wolford of Oil City, and Mrs. Burton Hollabaugh of Cochranton; a brother, John Perrine of Awiga; and a half-brother, Earl J. Matthews of Cooperstown. Deceased are his father; a brother, Ross Edward Perrine; three step-brothers, James, Butch and Carl Matthews; and a step-sister, Flo Matthews.
Services will be at 2 pm Wednesday at Burger-Gardinier Funeral Home with Rev. E. W. Morford, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
