Sometime after the 1860 Cesus Michael moved the entire Family to Thorncreek Township, Whitley County, Indiana.
In a Letter from Nathan Swisher to the Pension Board in Washington D.C. in 1901 Nathan states that his Brother Joseph died while on Re-Enlistment Furlough of Small Pox as did his Father. His Mother also caught Small Pox but survived.
