Danny Lowe, 76 of Beardstown, IL., died Friday, May 11, 2012 in his home. He was born June 1, 1936 in Arenzville, IL., the son of Ira and Ellen Spears Lowe. He married on Elva Florence Peacock on August 19, 1960 in Beardstown.

Surviving is his wife of Elva Lowe Beardstown; his children Franklin Lowe and Teresa Lowe both of Beardstown; five grandchildren Casey Sikes, Jason Cook, Josie and Clayton Coleman, and Josh Lowe; three great grandchildren; two brothers Wayne (wife Ann) Lowe of Virginia, IL., and Ted (wife Flo) Lowe of Jacksonville, IL; one sister Iva Bell of Beardstown; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers Herman, John, Harvey Ray, and Melvin Lowe; and one sister Edna Spoon.

Danny was attended Brick Schools in Cass County and also served in the United States Army. He was of the Protestant Faith. Danny enjoyed fishing and watching his grandchildren’s baseball games. Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at Beardstown City Cemetery.
