Loving Mother of eight children Jane, Richard, David, Janet, Robert, Danny, Martha, and Steve. A son Ray Allen crouch and one grandchild Jason Wayne Britt are deceased.
22 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
Mom there is so much to say, you were one of the best Mothers anyone could have, you were always there for each and every one of your children. Everyone of us has our faults, but in your eyes there were no faults, you loved all of us equally, you were proud of each of us , and told us so, more times than we can count. Thank You Mom for being the Christian Mother you were and for teaching us your many wonderful traits. you are so greatly loved and missed every single day, by all your children, and everyone who knew you.
My Mother played the piano, and sang at church for many years.
This is one of my Mother favorite poems:
(Do not stand at my grave and weep)
Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there; I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am the sun on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there; I did not die.
