services for Myrtle “Vicky” Rushing will be at 10 a.m. today in the chapel of Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove. Mrs. Rushing will be laid to rest in the Bellwood Memorial Park Cemetery following the services.
Mrs. Rushing died Sept. 29, 2014, in a local nursing center at the age of 90 years young. She was born Dec. 4, 1923.
“Vicky,” as she loved being called, was preceded in death by her husband, Julius (Dude) Rushing.
Survivors include their four daughters, Gladys Patalano, Geneva Litton and her husband, Johnny, Jeanette (Jan) Heintzman and her husband, John, and Charlie Bean and her husband, Allan; nine grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren to whom she was known as Granny.
Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove is in charge of arrangements.
