Charles William Miller, 52, died at 8:30 AM Sunday [Oct. 11, 1981[ in his Lafayette home, after a short illness. Born and reared at Hazard, KY, he lived in that area until coming to Lafayette in 1969. In 1971, he was married here to Carolyn Ann Masterson, who survives. Mr. Miller had been employed at Lehnen Furniture and Appliance Store for 13 years. He was a member of Fellowship Bible Church.

Surviving with his widow are two daughters, Charlene (Mrs. James) Carter of Elgin Air Force Base, FL, and Mrs. Marlene Carr of Anchorage, AK; one son, Danny Miller of Dayton, OH; three stepchildren, Bruce Rayburn of Lafayette, Brian Rayburn of Dumfries, VA, and Brenda (Mrs. Richard, Jr.) Carter of Louisville, TN; three sisters, Mabel (Mrs. Emmett) Byers, Mrs. Juanita Priest, both of Lafayette, and Imogene (Mrs. Beecher) Hamlet of Abilene, TX; one brother, Hobart Miller of Manhattan, KS; one granddaughter, five step-granddaughters, and several nieces and nephews.
