Obituary - KAYSVILLE-Edna Marie Roberts Smith, age 81, passed away Friday, June 5, 1992 in Layton.
She was born in Henefer, Utah November 24, 1911, a daughter of James Dallimore and Mary Emma Lake Roberts. She married Glenn Oren Smith December 23, 1941. He passed away July 1, 1984. A Registered Nurse, she worked at the old Dee Hospital in Ogden. She was the head scrub nurse in the Surgical Dept., and was a nures for Dr. Williams in Kaysville for many years; she retired from the Roy Convalescent Center.She enjoyed growing irises, had several hundred varieties and new the name of each one. She enjoyed traveling, reading, making quilts and sharing time with her many friends and family. She was a member of the Kaysville East Stake 2nd LDS Ward.
Survived by two sons, Edward Glenn Smith, and Elmer E. Smith, both of Kaysville; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; also survived by one sister, Dorsey and husband Ike Hodgson. Preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother, Joseph Roberts, and one sister, Lois Stephenson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, at the Kaysville LDS Rock Chapel, 25 South 200 East. Friends may call at the Lindquist Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and at the ward on Wednesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m.
Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
