HYMERA - Michael J. Quick, of Hymera, a loving and devoted husband and father, went home to be with his Jesus on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013, in Sullivan County Community Hospital. Michael was born April 16, 1969, in Terre Haute Union Hospital, to Marjorie Swalls Quick and the Rev. James Quick. He is survived by his wife, Lydia Fulk Quick; children, Olivia and Hayley Quick; his parents; sister, Kimberly Morrison and her husband Shane, and their children Lincoln and Sydney; brother, Jerry and his wife Connie, and their children Logan and Landon; a brother, Mark (Melodie); brother-in-law, John Fulk and his wife Amy, and their children Alexis and Jonathan; and sister-in-law, Patricia Johnson and her husband Jeff, and children Morgan and Austin..
Michael was a member of Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Hymera, where he served as Sunday School Superintendent, and a former church trustee.
Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, from 4 to 8 p.m. in the church. Services will be Tuesday, at 1 p.m. in the church with the Rev. Rusty Adkins and Brother Jim Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery.
