Born in Freetown, she lived in Pawtucket for seven years and in Providence for 24 years. She was the daughter of Saul E. and Cora M. (Haskins) Shepard.
She was an inspector for B.A. Ballou Company for 15 years before her retirement in 1978.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four sons, and four daughters.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at 11 AM in Primitive Methodist Church, Waterman Avenue, North Providence, Rhode Island.
