John Frank Register, 67, of Dover, died. Friday. He was a member of the National Catfish Association. Services were at the Howard-Carter and Stroud Funeral Home in Kinston with the Rev, Mike Scott officiating. Burial was in Westview Cemetery in Kinston. He was survived by his widow, Sally Cousin Register of the home; three daughters, Judith Herring and husband Gene Herring of Mobile, Ala., Laura R. Robinson and husband Jimmy Robinson of New Bern, Amie R. Ellis and husband Bill Ellis of Mobile, Ala.; four grandchildren, Johnny Robinson of New Bern, Elizabeth Robinson of New Bern, Jim Robinson of New Bern and Linsey Ellis of Mobile, Ala.; and a brother C. Harper Register of Kinston.
