Obituary - Donald L. Wilson, 68, passed away Thursday, January 9, 1992 in Layton, after a long illness. He was born November 28, 1923 in Duchesne, Utah, a son of Clarence L. and Henrietta Gee Wilson.

He married Lucie Stirland, January 11, 1946 in the Logan LDS Temple. He served in the Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. He retired from Civil Service at Hill Air Force Base in 1978 after 32 years of service.

He was a member of the LDS Church, a High Priest in the Layton 16th Ward. Served as a home teacher, Elders Quorum secretary, Stake Sunday School secretary and High Priest group leader.

His favorite love was his family and church. He enjoyed boating and fishing with his sons and grandsons.

Surviving: his wife, Layton; son, daughter, Michael S. and Judith A. Wilson and Patricia W. and John G. Fewkes, all of Layton; six grandchildren, Alesia Wilson, Lori Wilson, Adam Wilson, Jenna Fewkes, Jonathan Fewkes, and Jordan Fewkes; also surviving are his mother, Layton; one sister, one brother, LaMar G. and Oriene Wilson, Roosevelt; Lois W. and Reid Olsen, Helper; sister-in-law, Verla S. Noble, Smithfield.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 11 a.m., Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 No. Fairfield Rd., with Bishop Jerry Bullough officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 6-8 p.m. and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the Mortuary. Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.

Military honors accorded VFW Honor Guard.
