Linda Marie Lauer, 67, of San Marcos, TX, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 at her residence. She was born to Norman C. MacQueen and Marie Menzer MacQueen on July 17, 1947 in Queens, NY. Linda was a loving, caring person to all that knew her. After retiring from H & R Block, her love of taxes continued as so many trusted her. Linda's sense of humor and her laughter will be greatly missed. Linda's dog Bo was a great part of her life. She is survived by her devoted loving husband, Dudley Stephen Lauer; mother, Marie MacQueen; children, Rebecca Lauer, M.Sgt. Robert Lauer and wife Sharon, Amy Lauer Snow, Tammy Long, and Sandra Miller and husband Reverend Jimmy Miller; sisters, Susan King and husband Jon, Karen Osenbaugh and husband John, Jane Bollinger and husband Jack; brothers, William MacQueen and wife Kathy, Richard MacQueen and wife Trish, Arthur MacQueen, Daniel MacQueen and wife Coleen, and Robert MacQueen and wife Missy; 10 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Norman MacQueen and brother, Steve MacQueen. Public visitation will begin 5:00PM Sunday at Zoeller Funeral Home; 615 Landa St. New Braunfels, TX 78130 and will continue until 8:00PM. A Service will be held 9:00AM Monday, September 29, 2014 at Zoeller Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on October 4, 2014 at 10:00AM in Florida at St. Mark Episcopal Church: 3395 Burns Rd., Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. (561) 622-0956 with The Rev. James B.
