Wife of Floren B. Nelson,
LAYTON--Dorothy A. Nelson, 73, passed away Thursday, July 6, 1995 at Davis Hospital.
She was born July 8, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah, a daughter of Harve P. and Faye Sorenson Anderson. She married Floren B. Nelson, March 21, 1942 in Wyoming. She graduated from East High School and attended the University of Utah. She was a member of the LDS Church.
She had worked for ZCMI and Castleton's in the Layton Mall and was active in the Officer's Wives Club in the U.S. and overseas.
Surviving are her husband, Floren, Layton; three daughters, Patricia J. Nelson, Seattle, Wash.; Catherine Drue Nelson, Puyallup, Wash.; Darcy Cyd Sparks, West Jordan; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one sister, Neva McDonald, Orem. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Jan Carver and Tim Nelson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 11, 1995, 11 a.m, at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main, where friends may call Monday, From 6-7 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
