She is also preceded in death by loving brothers Ed, Curt, Bud, Joe and Darrell Johnson and loving sisters Ada Saylor and Jewell Woolridge.
She is survived by sister Kathleen Layne and brothers Harley Johnson and Jerry Johnson.
She is survived by her loving husband Charles W. Alstott children Bob Hubbard (Sheri) Myron Hubbard (Lisa) Tina Crites, Shannon Hawkins (Steve) Jim Alstott (Judy) Renee Stegemoller (Dan) and Tom Alstott (Chris) and 20 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Joy loved the Lord and was a member of Traders Point Christian Church. In her youth she enjoyed singing in the church choir. She was a homemaker all her life and LOVED doing laundry, ironing, cooking, baking and making sure her husband and children were happy and clean. She loved her family with all her heart, they were the most important in her life. She enjoyed life and for many years traveling to visit her family in Ohio and Kentucky brought her great happiness. Joy loved shopping, reading the newspaper, a good novel and a good cup of coffee. Being with family and friends laughing and telling stories is what life was all about to her. Her Grandchildren filled her life with much love and happiness she was very proud of them all. Joy will be greatly missed and forever loved by her family.
