Ronald Niel Cook, 46, died Saturday, March 23, 1991, at Lakeview Hospital, of a sudden heart attack.

Born August 22, 1944 in Ogden, Utah, the son of William Ora and Norma Nielson Cook. He married Elaine Andersen, of Ogden, June 21, 1963. He was raised in Ogden, graduate of Ben Lomond High School Class of 1962. While beginning a family and a career as an auto mechanic, he also served as a member of the U.S. Army Reserve Corps. Had been employed as a mechanic at Petersen Motors of Ogden, and at Menlove Dodge-Toyota in Bountiful, for the past 27 years. He enjoyed golfing, carpentry and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife of 25 years, his father and an older brother, William O. Cook, Jr.

He is survived by his son, Jason N. and his wife, Heidi Cook, Layton; daughter, Lainie Cook, Ogden; his mother; brother, Dennis Cook, both of Ogden; brother, Dale Cook, Alpine.

He will always be remembered by friends and family as a loving, caring and generous man. And he will be greatly missed from our lives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 3 p.m., Lindquist's Layton Mortuary, 1074 No. Fairfield Road, with Bishop Cal Harris officiating. Friends may call at

the mortuary, Wednesday, 1-3 p.m. Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
