Charles E. Foltz Sr., 81, of 1619 Edgar Ave., died Saturday afternoon, June 22, 1991, at his home.

He was born Nov. 11, 1909, in Franklin County, a son of the late John H. and Mary Ella Koontz Foltz.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Sarah Beltz Foltz, three brothers and three sisters.

Mr. Foltz was a member of the First Lutheran Church.

He was a retired employee of Letterkenny Army Depot with 31 years of service.

He and His wife, Geraldine K. Humelsine Foltz, celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary in March.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert Eugene of Hagerstown, Md., and Charles E. "Ed" Jr. of 20 Warwick Court; four grandchildren; four sisters; Elsie Reed of Dixon, Ill.; Fannie Heckman of Uniontown, Ohio; Hattie McCune of Menno Haven and Mildred Martin of Shippensburg; and one brother, Garnet of 1875 Edgar Ave.
