Wife of Lloyd Arthur Nelson and George Grant Campbell
KAYSVILLE--Ora Belle Allred Nelson Campbell, 94, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 1995, at her home.
She was born April 13, 1900 in Ferron, Utah, a daughter of Louis E. and Lydia Belle Henrie Allred.
She married Lloyd A. Nelson, Feb. 11, 1920 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He passed away April 6, 1922. She married George G. Campbell, March 28, 1923 in Duchesne, Utah. He passed away May 23, 1945.
Ora was reared and educated in Roosevelt, Utah and had lived in Salt Lake City and had resided in Kaysville, Utah since 1952.
She was an active member of the LDS Church and served on the Primary Stake Board in Roosevelt, served as Young Women's president in the Ballard Ward and served in numerous positions in the Church throughout her entire life.
She had lived in Richmond, California and worked during World War II at the Kaiser Shipyard.
She was affectionately known as "Maw" by her children, grandchildren and family and friends. Everyone knew that they were her
favorite.
She is survived by a son, Douglas A. Campbell, Smithfield, Utah; three daughters, Cleo (Billie) and husband, Laddie Timothy, Kaysville, Utah; Rula Nelson and husband, Ivan Campbell, Ione, California; Bula Nelson Byrd, Fair Oaks, California. Also 17 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren and 25 great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Don Allred and Miles Allred, both of Salt Lake City, Utah. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, two sisters and nine brothers.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4, 1995, at Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main Street. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the Mortuary. Interment: Kaysville City Cemetery.
