Mary Eastman is my mother and I am not deleting her bio.

Mary Eastman, 69, passed away on September 19, 2014 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was born on March 28, 1945 in Milford, Massachusetts the only child of George (1904-1978) and Flora (Borges) (1912-1989) McMullin. Her in-laws are John Alfred Eastman (1912-1998) and Marie Czeslawa "Ceil" Eastman of Salem, Massachusetts.

Mary was married to Thomas Francis Eastman (1945-2007) on 27 June 1970 in Lynnfield, Massachusetts; they drove to Mesa, Arizona to be sealed together forever in the Mesa Arizona Temple on 8 July 1970.

Mary's children include her eldest son William of Provo, Utah; second son who came to our family at the age of 14 Sean King, Las Cruces, New Mexico; and daughter Victoria of Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Cousin Connie Archis, and the Lemis Family, we can't forget you either.

Mary loved genealogy and was the Director of the Alamogordo Family History Center for years. She loves her friends from there especially her second in command Rosie.

Direct burial will be at Monte Vista Cemetery next to her husband Thomas in Section E.

No flowers please, the grandog likes to throw them on the floor.

Should friends desire, contributions may be made to the Puppy Rescue Mission, http://www.puppyrescuemission.com/how-to-help/donate/. Checks can also be mailed to The Puppy Rescue Mission, PO Box 1516, Celina, TX 75009.

Donations can also be made to the LDS Missionary Fund, or to http://www.surfdogricochet.com/causes-i-support.html (any one of the causes she supports)

Special thanks to the people of the Alamogordo Home Care and Hospice for their hard work, late night calls and dedication. Thank you to everyone for the thoughts prayers and distractions. My family couldn't have faced this without you.

The Eastman family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Hamilton-O’Dell Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
